Center for Coastal Studies Funds Social Media Research

The Virginia Tech Center for Coastal Studies has awarded a $15,000 grant for social media discourse analysis. This collaborative project with Dr. Sweta Baniya (English) will investigate how coastal issues are discussed and understood through social media conversations. The research aims to provide insights into public perceptions and communication patterns around critical coastal challenges.
