NSF Funds Study on Faculty Mental Models of Generative AI

The National Science Foundation has awarded $62,022 in supplemental funding to study faculty mental models of generative artificial intelligence. This collaborative project with Dr. Holly Matusovich (Engineering Education) at Virginia Tech will investigate how engineering faculty members understand and conceptualize generative AI technologies, with implications for teaching and assessment practices throughout engineering education.
