IDEEAS Lab Receives NSF Grant to Use Natural Language Processing to Advance Study of Workforce Development

Dr. Katz and Dr. Knight have received a grant from the NSF in collaboration with Dr. Maura Borrego at UT-Austin and Dr. Deters at UNL called "_The Engineering Master's Workforce: Leveraging Natural Language Processing Techniques to Understand Employer Demands and Student Goals_". This project will investigate supply side and demand side factors associated with the labor market for engineering master's graduates, specifically in mechanical engineering. Dr. Katz and Knight will be utilizing NLP techniques for this work.
